Horse Riding in
Andalucia

Guided rides for all experience222 levels – from beginner to advanced riders – in the hills of the Serranía de Ronda. Small groups, experienced guides, unforgettable landscapes.

Travelers' Choice 2025 TripAdvisor Award

El Prado de Paez is located in the Serranía de Ronda – one of Andalusia's most wild and beautiful natural landscapes, just 25 minutes from Ronda's old town. Since 2016 we have offered guided horse rides for beginners and experienced riders, equine therapy, riding lessons and accommodation.

Our aim: genuine encounters with horses in real nature. No tourist conveyor belts, no overcrowding – just space for what emerges when people and horses move through the landscape together.

Renaming note: The ranch was previously known as Caballos y Vino and was renamed to El Prado de Paez in 2026. This is why we still keep one offer with that name reference.

Therapy with Horses

Horses sense what we often cannot put into words. That is precisely what makes the encounter so powerful.

Lea Nada offers equine-assisted facilitation for children and young people. This is not clinical psychotherapy, but experience-based, animal-assisted support in the natural setting of the Serranía de Ronda.

No riding experience is needed. The focus is on meeting the horse on the ground – observing, touching, leading. What arises from this is individual and often surprisingly profound.

Children

Self-confidence, concentration, social interaction through working with the horse

Young People

Emotional regulation, stress reduction, identity development in a safe setting

How a Session Works

  • Arrival, settling in, first encounter with the horse
  • Observation and body language on the ground
  • Guided exercises – leading, touching, responding
  • Reflection and conversation with Lea
  • Possible continuation or follow-up sessions

Important note: The equine-assisted facilitation at El Prado de Paez does not replace medical or clinical psychotherapy. It is an experience-based support offering and is suitable as complementary support or as an independent nature experience.
